Hopeless to Hopeful Program
Birthright-Ghana supports all life, and to that end we have developed a program called Hopeless to Hopeful.
Hopeless to Hopeful program started in 2017 and we’re happy to report that 30 Moms have graduated successfully from this program, so far. Our goal is to help our new Moms find a way to take care of themselves and their babies and to carry their babies to term & beyond. In addition, Birthright-Ghana makes small loans to our pregnant or nursing Mothers, which enables them to learn a trade, purchase equipment, and acquire inventory to start a business. We also encourage Moms who can afford to continue their education. Through this program, we are helping to empower the women we serve to proceed forward with their lives in a positive and healthy way for themselves and their families. In this way, we help them to turn their lives around, from dysfunctional and hopelessness to self-reliant, very functional and full of hope! Through this process and program we show our women and girls love, value, respect, and in doing so, we help them both, the Mothers & their precious babies.
